Grace began her career as an accountant, working a typical 9-to-5 job after graduation. Driven by the desire for something more meaningful, she chose an unconventional path and stepped into the fashion world to pursue her dream of modeling. Her journey took her across various ASEAN countries, eventually leading to a major breakthrough—walking in New York Fashion Week 2016.
Her experience as a model sparked a deeper passion for skincare and self-care. Struggling with dry, sensitive skin herself, Grace began experimenting with soap-making to address her own needs. Over time, she developed formulas that not only worked for her but became the foundation of something greater.
When her mother was diagnosed with eczema and experienced discomfort and insomnia due to skin sensitivity, Grace channeled her energy into studying herbs and natural ingredients. Through months of dedicated experimentation, she crafted a personalized soap that significantly improved her mother’s condition.
These personal breakthroughs inspired the birth of Balance Tree in 2018—a brand rooted in care, resilience, and the belief that skincare should be both nurturing and effective. Grace continues to share her knowledge, driven by a mission to help others restore balance through mindful skincare.
